One thing that I've noticed is every year at the orientation tent, they seem to leave out more rules. Not saying they don't apply them, they don't mention them in the video.

And another thing I'm kinda dissapointed about was the condition of the boats. I mean really. The side on the 3rd boat came off! I could tell those things were about to fall apart.

Not only that, but on boat 2 the back bottom caved in when everybody loaded on the boat. Next year they need to use a better quality of wood.

We were actually asked to do some work on the boats on Omaha and Utah. I didn't have time to schedule repairs in and didn't get anyone else involved. I'll take the hit on that one.

It's fine let's just schedule a work day for it next year.

Here's my take on it.

We are paying customers. We pay a premium and drive hundreds or even thousands of miles each year to play at a field. It is not our job to repair it.

I agree with Farris. Why should we have to work on props when we have to pay to be there, pay to get there, and then have to pay for the poor quality paint and not be supplied with drinkable water.Dewayne needs to provide this for us in my opinion.I dont think he would like it if he went to a restauraunt to eat and found out that he had to bring his own food and prepare it for himself and pay to eat it there and have to eat it with a rubber fork, all the while being served sulfur water to wash it down with.

That's a valid point. However there is a possibility that the poor economy had something to do with the poor field conditions this year. This is as bad as the field has looked since we started coming in 2006. Granted these problems shouldn't require much cash but I'm sure the recession hasn't helped dewayne in fixing things up.

No need to take the hit. If there wasn't time (and there wasn't), there wasn't time! We had a very full schedule. There comes a time that with things like the boats, you just have to say "good enough."

AS humbly as I can say this, I paid my $70, $5 at the gate, $2 drinks, $18 T-shirt, and $65 a case paint - fees. I gave away well over a half case of paint, dozens of drinks, gallons of ice cold city water, and even some first aid equipment. Please don't ask me (the field) to mow the grass or fix the boats when I get there.

If I sound like I have a bad attitude, I'm sorry. I really don't. I enjoyed my time there and plan to go back next year, but I know there is a lot of money went through there this year that can be spent on field improvements.
